Question: 1265-2415
I got a Thanksgiving cactus in a four inch pot that appears root bound. Is this a good time to transplant? Bob, Boswell, CT

Mort's Answer:
You can transplant now to a six inch clay pot. Use a soil mix of good potting soil and a third coarse sand. If you want to bring the flower early in the fall, leave the plant outdoors during the day. Buds will set at 40-45 degrees. Do not let the plant suffer a frost.
