Question: 1370-3216
I have a Kalanchoe in a west window. It is dropping some leaves. What is happening? Minnie, Preston, CT

Mort's Answer:
You are probably giving the plant too much water. All succulents hold extra water in their leaves. If it is in a plastic pot, repot in a clay with saucer. When you transplant, cut off any brown or black roots. Your new soil should be a third sand and good sterile potting soil. Place the plant in a south facing window for best results.
