Question: 378-3410
I have many kinds of Citrus planted in our greenhouse. The tangerine is the only one that is losing the leaves. They first turn yellow then they drop. I do not see any sign of insects or disease. What can we do? Marsha, Columbia, NC

Mort's Answer:
Some plants may drop their leaves, if they do not have sufficient nutrient for fruit. A cold draft could also be the pr4oblem. I would add some 5-10-10 granular fertilizer to the soil. Dig six holes in a circle at the leaf drop that go down a foot. Fill the holes with the fertilizer. This should be good for five years.
